This painting depicts what life was like where I lived. It shows the trees, birds, animals, insects and plants which were around our home. It shows the zebra finches when they came to drink from our pond first thing in the morning and the honey eaters which would come at dusk. It shows the camels who lived next door and the Black Cockies that flew overhead every morning, a Kite, Butcher Bird and Ring-necked Parrot that lived around us.
